LOW AMH (Anti Mullerian Hormone)

AMH (Anti Mullerian Hormone) is used as a measure of ovarian reserve (egg reserve) in females.

AS Age advances, AMH value comes down gradually. But apart from age many other factors like life style changes, food habits, obesity, previous pelvic surgeries, and endometriosis can also affect AMH levels.

When AMH is low it is an indicator for low ovarian reserve. Hence earlier treatment is advocated, if pregnancy with own eggs is attempted.

Our pretreatment medication and IVF special stimulation protocol for patients with low AMH yields good quality eggs which increases our success rates.
